Welcome

                         Welcome to our Blog!

Blogging rules: Appropriate responses, no swearing. Edit your work to the best of your ability. It is not only acceptable, but encouraged to have a family member help with editing and revising.

We are now reading the book Night, by Elie Wiesel. The setting is 1941-1945, during World War II. The main character, Elie, survives the Holocaust, living in a concentration camp with his father. This memoir is a tribute to hope and the human spirit. It is also a reminder of how important it is to be kind with our words and our actions.
Now you have also met a Holocaust survivor. There are many similarities and differences between Elie Wiesel and Mr. Korzenik. Think about how their experiences were the same and how they were different. What parts of the book stand out for you? What parts of Mr. Korzenik's presentation were important to you?

When you are blogging, please remember to write a response, not a summary. Use your words like paint on a canvas, and paint our readers a picture of your favorite scene.
